Gerry Perlinski begins recording new EP at Seaside Lounge studios (7/6/10)

New Jersey based songwriter, Gerry Perlinski began recording his new EP this month at the indie rock powerhouse studio, Seaside Lounge in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Engineered by Josh Clark (The National, The Brought Low, The New Pornographers) the new album features Dan Fabricatore (bass) and Chris DeRosa (drums), plus a variety of special guests.

A mix of modern rock, indie roots rock and punk/new wave, Gerry’s sound defines what it means to be a new artist today. With influences ranging from Chris Whitley, Jeff Buckley and Ben Harper to dance-able indie rock like Interpol, Spoon and early U2 and The Police, it will be impossible not to get your feet moving and hips shakin’.

The album is set for release in Fall of 2010 and will be distributed on LA based indie label, Starving Dog Records.
